Service Description: The parcel layer delineates parcels within city limits as well as the city’s Planning Jurisdiction. The parcel geometry (actual shape of the parcels) is maintained by GIS, while the parcel attributes are maintained by the county. Attributes include owner/ address information as well as tax appraisal information. New parcel geometries are entered immediately by GIS, but parcel attributes are only updated once a quarter. Please note that new parcels yet to receive any attributes (called “not initialized”) will not be shown until the attributes have been joined.
